The Union Hotel Turriff

Built in the early part of the 19th Centuary The Union Hotel was one of the first granite fronted buildings in Turriff.

Situated in the centre of Turriff, The Union Hotel offers a combination of Great Dining and accommodation together with excellent conference and banqueting facilities. All bedrooms have full en suite facilities making your stay in Turriff a comfortable and enjoyable one.
The Hotel is ideally situated in Aberdeenshire's agricultural heart land, but only 35 minutes from the bustling city of Aberdeen with it's shopping malls, cafes and restaurants.
The Union Hotel is family owned by John & Susan Clark offering guests that personal touch to ensure that guests at the Hotel have a memorable visit to Turriff and the surrounding areas.

*Colcannon's Lounge* *For the Golfer in us* Turriff is well situated for the golfer, with it,s own excellent golfcourse Rosehall and over 16 other golf courses within easy reach of Turriff including Duff House Royal, Royal Tarlair, Cullen, Old Meldrum House (Professional Paul Lawrie) Old Medrum,New Machar, Ellon, Cruden Bay and the New Balmedie East Aberdeenshire course. We now offer a complete golfing package including Lunch, Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. *The Whisky Trail* The worlds only whisky trail can start right in the Hotel with our fine selection of Malts including the local Glendronach and Glen Deveron. Turriff is the ideal base for the whisky trail with Glendronach and Glendeveron Distillaries within 15 minutes of Turriff. Information & tours are easily organised by the Hotel. *The Castle Trail* Castle Trail Right on our door step with Dalgetie Castle the ancestral home of Clan Hay pain stakingly restored over the last decade or so and Fyvie Castle with it's grand baronial facade and five towers, each added by a different family and each adding to the castles long history. Only 10 minutes from Turriff we also have the fabulous Duff House all part of the Castle trail. *Fishing* Turriff offers excellent Salmon and Trout fishing on the River Deveron and surrounding areas including the River Ythan and River Spey with a good choice of well stocked fish farms in the area for some practice. Sea angling trips ( for those of us with sea legs)can be arrange from Banff and Macduff through the Hotel. *Shooting* With choices of Driven Pheasant, Grouse, Pigeon Duck flighting or Deer Stalking all in the area of The Union Hotel. We have excellent Clay pigeon shooting facilities within 15 minutes of the Hotel for some extra practice. The venue offers DTL and traps and tuition if required
